I know what you’re thinking. I’m an Angel, so shouldn’t I be able to break out of a mere human’s prison?
Ah…that would be too easy, now wouldn’t it? Of course I had dreamt up of countless scenarios of which to escape. I acquired magic, yes, but again, it wasn’t that easy. There were rules set into place by my kind before my departure here. I had a mission to fulfill, a task that would alter the human race for centuries to come.
No, I’m not going to tell you what it is…at least, not just yet. What it initiates however, is catastrophic. There are many mysteries as to why I am here, but o
The sound of water encircled the area. The subtle echo of the liquid splashing against the river stones, sent an array of euphoria to her ears. The piercing heat of the morning star kissed the skin of her face, as the frigid wind caressed her body.
A loud crash erupted, the sound of the peaceful water being pushed out of its safe abode.
A piercing tone called out to her, “Butter! Please come in the water with me!”
She instantly recognized the voice belonging to her twin brother Scotch. Her cat ears twitched from the annoyance of her brother disturbing her tranquility. She peered one of her eyes open to see him drenched in the c
Butter watched as her brother continued to play in the water, completely oblivious to the reason why he could never wander past the very river he was playing within. She yearned to know what Euteria had to offer past such restricted areas and what kind of people lurked around the dark corners of such a dazzling world.
Then a soft noise made its way towards her and she twitched her ears towards her right as she instinctively turned her head slowly to see another cat. The girl was noticeably sitting on a tree branch that was right above both of them, making no real effort to hide herself from their eyes.
Butters ears went back in aggression
The Demoni ran at Butter who stood her ground, bracing herself for impact. She planted her boots into the ground as the taller, stronger intruder crashed into her. Grabbing Butter's dress, the demon cat slammed her into the tree, causing a shower of leaves to fall over them as some birds squawked in annoyance, fleeing from their nests. Butter's lips curved up, baring her teeth as she puffed out her tail in animosity. She extended her claws and raised her arm, slicing across the Demoni's shoulder as a yelp escaped the demon cats' lips. Butter seized this opportunity, using the tree for leverage as she kicked her foot out and slammed it into t
Butter released the air from her lungs, turning it into an eerie mist in the frigid night air. Her ears stood up straight on end, and her tail twitched back and forth anxiously. She hated being here, her master knew that—but he did not care. He only saw her as a pretty face, a breed to attract potential suitors. It was simple really, her master wanted to find her a perfect mate—one that was wild—in hopes to create a unique blood line, one that no one else has ever discovered. He desired to create a cross between a flame point and a blue point. The master wanted to produce a white tailed cat with soft, glowing blue tips, mix
“I know what you yearn to do to your master. I can help you accomplish such a task, but only with your help. If you agree, I can remove the bells from your body.” The blue point said.
Butter's ears perked up in interest. Were her prayers finally to be answered? Was meeting this feral cat fate? To finally roam around Euteria without fear of her master following her or harming her was something she had been dreaming about. Since she was born her master would beat her, ranging from a single slap to a full fledged attack depended upon whether or not the master was in a good mood. This meant most of the beatings she received were as a
Iris knelt, leaning forward to smell the ground as she inhaled the fleeing scent of Butter's aroma. It would be fairly easy for her to trace the scent back to the castle, as long as she followed this trail.
Scotch puffed out his tail in anger.
“I said you are going the wrong way! Why won’t you listen to me!?”
Kokoro hushed him.
“Be patient, she has a reason for doing so.”
Iris stood up and turned towards the remaining twin.
“Your master has altered the surroundings to your house, the path in which you are used to has changed. The only way for us to find your sister is to follow this trail. It will take som
A throbbing pain hammered her head, like a blunt object beating into her skull repeatedly.
“Take a deep breath.” Uttered a voice, but it was muffled and displaced. The tone and volume would gradually grow louder, and then fade ever so softly to a whisper.
“What? Why…Why am I here?” she answered, fluttering her eyelids open, trying to focus her eyes on the setting around her.
“We can use her to get to him.” A murmur came from her right.
“This can finally be the key to destroying the humans.” Another voice said from the left.
“Silence yourselves!” a familiar tone whispered
Haru let his mouth drop open slightly until he caught himself, “The male flame point holds more power than he comprehends.”
The elder nodded, “This is precisely why, when the time is right, we tell him of that power. If Butter successfully falls for you and kills her master, and Scotch knowing of the outcome will not hesitate to save her.”
Haru sat back in his chair, rubbing his head, “Scotch is very noble but his sister would never allow him to do such a thing as to sacrifice himself.”
The elder grimaced, “That is why we will not make it known to her. As you know, Scotch is the switch that enables
